Tesla has launched its new truck called the “Cybertruck”. We have a lot to say about this truck. A lot of people hate Cybertruck, while others love it. The truck is made with hard exterior to protect the passengers from various threats.
With an “almost exoskeleton” design, the design itself focuses on the superior strength and quality of the truck.
Why you should choose the Cybertruck?
If you’re a truck guy, the Cybertruck is solely for you. Cybertruck sales will start to rise pretty soon. However, why should you choose the Cybertruck? There are a lot of reasons to choose this bad boy. I’ll make points of these reasons so that it’ll be easy for you to check them out.
- Speed Catching Rate
One of the coolest features of Tesla’s Cybertruck is the speed catching rate itself. There are three models and each one has its own quirk. There’s a single, dual, and tri-motor model you get with this one.
- The Single motor catches speed from 0-60 MPH in less than 6.5 seconds.
- The Dual motor catches speed from 0-60 MPH in less than 4.5 seconds
- The Tri-motor catches speed from 0-60 MPH in less than 2.9 seconds.
In my opinion, this feature can be the most-selling point for this truck. Considering the fact that it moves so fast, it packs quite power. The power is strong enough to beat trucks made by Ford.
- Towing Capacity
As the Cybertruck packs serious punch, the towing capacity is extraordinary too. Once again, all three models have different towing capacities.
- The Single motor can tough up to 7500 lbs.
- The Single motor can tough up to 10,000 lbs.
- The Single motor can tough up to 14,000 lbs.
Considering this towing capacity, design, and power is the main focus. The truck has one of the strongest exterior and towing capacity is no exception too.
Considering these two major points, you should have a rough idea of whether or not you want to buy the Tesla Cybertruck.
Cybertruck Features and Specifications:-
Now we are going to talk about the features and specifications of the Tesla Cybertruck.
1) Exoskeleton
The exterior is made with a shell for ultimate durability protection and passenger’s safety. The hard shell can protect it against almost everything. The exoskeleton is nearly non-prone to penetration. With every component designed perfectly. The durability and protection will become one of the biggest selling points for this truck.
The material in use for the Cybertruck is the Ultra-hard 30X Cold rolled stainless steel. Coupled with Tesla’s armor glass, the security is uncanny.
2) Versatility
Versatility is another section where this bad boy outshines. It has 3,500 pounds of payload and it’s by far the toughest thing Tesla has ever made. Moreover, to take things on a whole other level, it also has an adjustable air suspension too.
There’s a 100 cubic meter of interior and there’s plenty room for storage too. The storage is like a vault. 100 cubic meters? All yours. It acts as a great room for your items. The truck has the ability to lift up to 14,000 pounds of weight.
The truck is able to perform any weight intensive task in any condition.
3) Flexible Interior
There’s a lot to talk about the interior. The six-seater interior gave people mixed thoughts. While the interior itself is intuitive, some people didn’t really like the “too flat” approach of Tesla. However, for a truck enthusiast, it’s still ideal.
What’s more important is the fact that there’s some additional storage space under the second-row seats. With the 17 inch display and an interactive UI, the controls are one a whole other level.
4) Power and Performance
With flexible interior, versatility, and tough design, it’s only natural that the power and performance would be great too. It’s only possible with an all-electric design. The extraordinary structure and the electric design gives you extended control.
The truck lasts up to 500 miles on a single charge and the speed catching rate is uncanny. The tri-motor model can catch up to 60 miles in less than 3 seconds. Hence, the power of this Cybertruck is beyond many.
5) Colors
The biggest flexibility comes in colors though. Well! You’ve guessed it wrong. Tesla’s cybertruck comes in no color at all. It’s just that hard stainless steel color. You can get different colors as we see in some of the most popular memes out there.
If you want to change the color, the only available way is to put custom paint or vinyl wraps so that it will feel more true to life. Many people have skipped it due to this factor. It might look like one of them cheats on the Need for Speed 2 SE game. But on the other hand, to make it look tough, this was the only choice left by Tesla.
6) Bulletproof
Cybertruck is bulletproof. Is it? On the reveal, Elon Musk showed a 9mm bullet being hit to the truck. It didn’t penetrate through the glass but we can assume that any bullet that is larger than 9mm might just destroy that glass.
The moral-less is that we should rely on the Cybertruck’s security as we are not sure whether it’s going to be destroyed or not.
7) Bed for items
A track must have a huge bed to make it act as a truck. Tesla’s Cybertruck has one of the best beds we’ve ever seen. According to Tesla, it’s called “the Vault”. The bed is made with the same stainless steel so you can put a lot of weight and it won’t budge.
There’s not interference of the wheels so you have all the room to put your stuff into. There’s a garage door style roof that helps in overall aerodynamics of the truck. All in all, one of the best beds we’ve seen and the design for bed is pretty much perfect.
Pros of Cybertruck
As much as we love this truck, there is a lot to say about this. We’ve compiled a list of pros for the Tesla Cybertruck. So let’s talk about them.
- Speed
With its super speed, Cybertruck has the potential to be the most favorite truck for most people. The truck packs quite a punch and considering that it can reach up to 60 MPH in just under 3 seconds, it’s crazy.
- Durability
Cybertruck is known for its durability. It can save you from major damage. Even a 9mm bullet couldn’t pass through this bad boy. Moreover, the stainless steel makes it even tougher.
- Performance
With an all-electric design, this truck is all about heavy work. It can easily travel up to 250 miles on a single charge. So it’s really cool to see that technology has come too far. Moreover, the tri-motor model can last up to 500 miles on a single charge.
Cons of Cybertruck
Not everything in this universe is perfect. We’ve seen some of the most positive points regarding Tesla’s Cybertruck. Now, it’s time for the cons. Why cybertruck hasn’t taken the world by storm? Let’s talk about the list of things that didn’t interest many people.
- Color
Probably the main reason of hate is the color of this truck. The truck is colorless. With the stainless steel design, you get a silver color. Tesla has not given any options to add any other color or buy any different colored models. This is a drawback for buying this Cybertruck.
- Design
To me, the Cybertruck looks like a car straight out of Minecraft. The design is a little weird. Not just a little people are having mixed feelings and thoughts about this one. It’s more of a blocky design rather than a sleek look.
This is the main reason why people are giving negative comments to this truck.
Price of the Cybertruck
One of the best features of this truck is the price. It comes with a price range that is affordable and rather eye-catching. Pricing will start at $39,000. The Ford F-150 comes with the price tag of $30,000. While on the other hand, Cyber truck is roughly $10,000 more expensive than the F150.
Believe it or not, the extra price is worth it. Cybertruck is more powerful than the Ford’s model. Thus, every penny is worth it. If you want to buy the other models, you will have to pay extra money.
